How Did I Get Started?
A transformation in my personal life lead me to begin studying at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). Through learning how to use food as medicine, I've been able to act as my truest self – someone who acts with passion in every aspect of my life, sees through the eyes of love, eats to nourish and moves with intent. I wrote a blog post about how migraines caused a transformational experience, which I at first looked at like an obstacle, but throughout the year, recognized it was the beginning of a wonderful new outlook on life. I've literally cured myself of migraines and sinus infections through experimenting with food.
My Philosophy & Practice
Wellness is not one-size-fits all and I get it. I work with my clients to create a happy, healthy lifestyle that suits their individual needs. I studied all of the different dietary theories and understand that one person's food is another person's poison.
Here are some of the obstacles I can help with:

I'm also passionate about educating people on veganism and enjoy coaching people through the process into becoming vegetarian or vegan. I've been a vegetarian for over ten years and vegan for almost three and have found real balance in the food I eat. It's a tricky transformation because "junk food vegans" aren't healthy. Instead of focusing on what you can't have, I like to reveal all of the new foods you can have.
Through nutrition counsel, you'll develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for you and implement lasting changes that will improve your energy, balance and overall health.
