Baths have amazing healing properties, such as moisturizing skin and aiding in weight loss. It's important to indulge every once and a while and take a bath. After all, not every bath is made the same: Some can help with insomnia while others can keep you awake throughout the day. Here are 3 ways to get crafty and make bath time even better.


Matcha Green Tea Bath Soak

If you love matcha tea, then you'll love this bath. All you'll need is 1/2 matcha green tea powder and 1 cup of sea salt. Matcha tea is packed with antioxidants and energy boosters, while sea salt purifies the skin and leaves it soft, smooth, and supple. Invigorating and refreshing, this  bath is ideal for mornings and afternoons. To make, simply combine the ingredients and pour them under hot running water and then soak in it for at least 15 minutes. You'll probably smell like tea afterwards (but who minds that?). 


Honey and Milk Bath Soak

Want to bathe like an Egyptian? According to legend, Cleopatra herself used to bathe in honey and milk.  The health benefits of honey, which softens,  and milk, which exfoliates, are enhanced when they are  combined. This blend is said to provide glowing skin and antioxidants that create soft, flawless skin. To try it out, just mix 1-2 cups of powdered milk ans 1-3 cups of honey into running water. Make sure to mix the water well. Soak in it for at least 15 minutes, to really feel like a queen.


Rose and Chamomile Bath Soak

This bath soak is sure to leave you feeling soothed and relaxed, perfect for unwinding after a long day. All you will need is 10 drops of rose essential oil, 10 drops chamomile essential oil, and 2 cups of dead sea salt. Rose is a proven antidepressant and boosts confidence all while nourishing skin to keep it youthful and fresh. Chamomile essential oil can also help lift the spirit as well as help fade scars and spots on the face and skin. Lets not forget dead sea salt is great for relieving body aches, rejuvenating skin cells, and lessens inflammation of dry skin. Sound good? Just add the essential oils and dead sea salt to a hot bath water. Make sure ingredients are mixed well, then soak in it for at lest 20 minutes to get the most out of your bath.
